Frank Fowler Originally trained as a painter, Loretta Lux creates photographic portraits that explore notions of artificiality, alienation, and human fragility. In a series of child portraits, she creates painted backdrops for each child, and then digitally enhances facial features, lighting, and other details in order to create an impression of isolation and displacement. |
