Minna Resnick (1946; lives and works in Ithaca, New York) Untitled, 1977 Lithograph on paper Edition of 20 19 x 15 inches each Knoxville Museum of Art, 1977 purchase from the 11th Dulin National Print and Drawing Competition Resnick, a printmaker and adjunct drawing professor at SUNY Cortland, emphasizes the public and private nature of women, noting incongruities that arise. She received her M.F.A. in printmaking from San Francisco Art Institute and a B.F.A. in graphic design from University of the Arts, Philadelphia. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Brooklyn Museum, NY; the Denver Art Museum, CO; and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England. |
